The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works is beginning its work on the 2024 Water Resources Development Act. This biennial bill is the primary authorizing legislation for civil works studies, projects and programs carried out by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Civil Works. With the Senator’s legacy of leadership on water infrastructure and the critical work that the Corps does in the state of Illinois and the Nation, she looks forward to engaging with Committee staff to ensure that this Bill continues to deliver strong investments and policy to our waterways and infrastructure.
