Special Presidential Envoy for Climate Kerry’s Travel to Japan - United States Department of State

Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry will travel to Sapporo, Japan, April 14-16 and Tokyo, Japan, April 17-18. In Sapporo, Secretary Kerry will continue efforts to advance international cooperation on combating the climate crisis at the G7 Ministers’ Meeting on Climate, Energy, and Environment. In Tokyo, Secretary Kerry will meet with Prime Minister Kishida and senior government officials to discuss respective national climate efforts, as well as collaboration to support the clean energy transition globally, including in the Indo-Pacific region.
