Kansas Sen. Jerry Moran discusses trip to Israel

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Kansas Senator Jerry Moran recently returned from a trip to Israel, where he met with Israel’s Prime Minister and the families of hostages taken by Hamas.
We sat down with Senator Moran to discuss what he encountered during his visit. He said he went to show support for Israel in its war against Hamas.
Moran also said he took the visit as an opportunity to push for more humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
“There is nothing human,” Moran said. “It is disgusting to think human beings can treat other human beings in what we saw. It is clearly an indication that Israel needs to defend itself.”
