Blackburn Introduces 10 Amendments To Dems’ Reckless Tax And Spending Spree

August 6, 2022

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) introduced ten amendments to the Democrats’ nearly $739 billion tax and spending spree. If passed, Senator Blackburn’s amendments would stop tax increases on small businesses and middle-income Americans, prevent policies that increase energy prices, and block the Chinese Communist Party from undermining American academic and agricultural interests.

“Inflation is at a 41-year high, and the left’s spending is making it even worse. As written, the Democrats’ Build Back Broke spending spree is a disaster. My amendments offer straightforward solutions to the problems the left’s spending caused,” said Senator Blackburn.
