“Tennessee is flourishing like never before. Businesses are innovating and making transformational investments in the Volunteer State, and Americans are moving to Tennessee in droves. During my 95 County Tour, I saw firsthand the manufacturing boom taking place in East Tennessee with companies like Oshkosh Corporation expanding in Jefferson County, and witnessed the huge increase in investment in West Tennessee with BlueOval City bringing thousands of jobs to Haywood County. As I traveled to rural counties in Southeast Tennessee, I spoke to industry leaders and local officials about the huge growth they are experiencing as well as problems they face such as the fentanyl epidemic and a lack of accessible emergency medical care, which my bipartisan Rural Health Agenda seeks to address. I am honored to represent the state of Tennessee, and I will continue standing for what matters most to our state and its residents,” said Senator Blackburn.
