"For them, really to have this opportunity to get a vaccine after 10 months, there's a lot of excitement. There's a lot of relief, there's a lot of just joy in the fact that here we are today and we have this vaccine available. So, I think you can see it in their faces, the excitement."The Maryland Department of Health on Dec. 18 launched its new COVID-19 vaccine information page, which will provide COVID-19 vaccine updates as information continues to evolve. Both health care systems received doses of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine Thursday night.

LifeBridge Health on Friday started one of its larger vaccination clinics at Sinai, Northwest and Carroll hospitals for employees who preregistered to receive the vaccine.
