About Us

Anne Arundel County Food Bank was founded in 1986 to distribute food to community partners throughout Anne Arundel County. To this day, AACFB continues its commitment to providing free food and basic necessities to under-resourced residents, working alongside county and state governments to address food insecurity throughout Anne Arundel County. AACFB’s 76 Network Partners operate food pantries, baby and senior pantries, and on-site feeding centers at 115 distribution points across the county. Learn more.

Women at the Helm: AACFB CEO Featured in The Motherlode Magazine

The spring 2024 issue of Annapolis Mom’s Media The Motherlode magazine showcases over 100 women influencing the way we live in Anne Arundel County. Anne Arundel County Food Bank CEO Leah Paley is one of several nonprofit leaders highlighted in the magazine.

“I was so delighted to be part of this amazing moment,” Paley said. “Being part of this gathering of dedicated, passionate women is a professional highlight. Being able to connect with people I view as friends, mentors, and colleagues was a tremendous experience, and I am honored to be part of this feature highlighting the women making Anne Arundel County an even better place to live and work.``

Ticket Sales Start April 3 for Feeding Hope 2024

For its third year, the Anne Arundel County Food Bank will host Feeding Hope, a casual spring garden party mixed up with a mini-food and drink festival. More than 200 food bank supporters gather at Davidsonville’s Homestead Gardens to raise funds to help our neighbors in need fill their tables with fresh, nutritious food. Guests enjoy small bites and tastes from a variety of local restaurants and food shops, sip on wines, brews, and cocktails, and dance along to live music from Red Betty & The Ruckus. Ticket sales begin April 3.
