Senator Rick Scott calls for hearing to examine vetting process of foreign nationals

(WEAR) — Senator Rick Scott is now calling for a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing.

This, to examine failures in the vetting process of foreign nationals training on U.S. military bases.

Senator Scott says, if necessary, a classified session may need to be held with U.S. law enforcement and intelligence agencies, as well as military leaders.

More than 300 Saudi flight students remain grounded after the attack at Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola.

The Saudi aviation students at NAS remain restricted to the base right now.
