(Washington, DC) -- Florida's Senator Rick Scott is criticizing businesses that, he says, are choosing profits over human rights.
The New York Times reported Sunday that Nike, Coca-Cola and others are urging members of Congress to weaken a bill that would ban importing goods from China made with forced labor. Senator Scott said these companies should rethink their position.
He tweeted as a nation, we must stand for human rights and freedom.
