Rick Scott: We Need ‘Way More Transparency’ on Coronavirus

On Saturday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Cavuto Live,” Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) called for “way more transparency” on the coronavirus and stated that he was “surprised” by the coronavirus death in Lee County, FL because he didn’t even know there was a presumptive case.

Scott said, “I was very surprised, actually, when I heard about the death in Lee County, which is adjoining to the county I live in. We didn’t know there was even a presumptive case. We need to make sure, where did this person travel? We need to make sure whoever — if they were — if they traveled into the airport, who was on that flight? Let’s make sure they can get tested.”

He added, “So, we’ve got to get more information out. We need to have way more transparency in this at every level, state, federal, and local. We need to have way more transparency.”
