Even though the presidential election in Florida is over, both of Florida's U.S. senators are weighing in on what's happening in other states. "The fact that 70% of Republicans don't believe the 2020 election was free and fair, that should be of concern to everyone,” Florida Sen. Marco Rubio said. Rubio posted a video on social media citing a Politico survey that also said "78% of Republicans believed that mail-in voting led to widespread voter fraud and 72% believed that ballots were tampered with. Rubio said he believes the news media have prematurely declared Democrat Joe Biden the winner."Now for those in the media who are angry that Republicans won't just take their word for it that Biden won, I think you need some self-awareness," Rubio said. "And therefore, President Trump is well within his legal rights to pursue all these things under these laws now."Rubio further criticized Democrats for not social distancing during weekend celebrations at Biden-Harris events, but failed to point out the overwhelming majority wore masks, unlike supporters at recent Trump campaign rallies. He also claimed the media "spent four years claiming that Russians hacked the last election.” Many media reports over the past four years cited information included in the Mueller Report from the Justice Department.Rubio's demand for every state's election to be settled before declaring a winner is supported by Florida Sen. Rick Scott. “This is a close race and Donald Trump will and should use every avenue at his disposal to make sure every legal vote is counted,” Scott said.

Rubio said he believes the news media have prematurely declared Democrat Joe Biden the winner.

"Now for those in the media who are angry that Republicans won't just take their word for it that Biden won, I think you need some self-awareness," Rubio said. "And therefore, President Trump is well within his legal rights to pursue all these things under these laws now."

Rubio further criticized Democrats for not social distancing during weekend celebrations at Biden-Harris events, but failed to point out the overwhelming majority wore masks, unlike supporters at recent Trump campaign rallies.

He also claimed the media "spent four years claiming that Russians hacked the last election.”

Many media reports over the past four years cited information included in the Mueller Report from the Justice Department.

Rubio's demand for every state's election to be settled before declaring a winner is supported by Florida Sen. Rick Scott.

“This is a close race and Donald Trump will and should use every avenue at his disposal to make sure every legal vote is counted,” Scott said.
