Senator Rick Scott is visiting Puerto Rico

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Senator Rick Scott will be in Puerto Rico on Friday.
He will be discussing the ongoing efforts to rebuild and recover from Hurricane Maria, and speak with the National Guard about hurricane preparedness.
This year he fought for nearly 600 million dollars in disaster relief funding for the island’s recovery. This is the former Florida governor, now senator’s tenth visit since Maria devastated the island in 2017.
