A message from Senator Michael Bennet

Hello everybody,

Yesterday, Colorado began mailing ballots to every registered voter, beginning the final stretch before Election Day on November 3. You can sign up to track your ballot online and receive notifications when it’s been mailed, received, and accepted. Ballots must arrive at a vote center or county clerk’s office by 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Susan and I plan to cast our ballots next week at one of the 368 secure drop boxes across our state. If you prefer to vote in person, Colorado will also open about 330 vote centers on October 19 through Election Day. You can find your closest dropbox or vote center here

However you intend to vote––and whomever you plan to support––I encourage you to make a specific plan to vote and to do so as early as possible.

If you have more questions about when, where, and how to vote, visit GoVoteColorado.gov

I believe this is the most important election in our lifetime, one that may decide the future of this country not only for the next four years, but for the next 40 years. That’s why we have to get everybody we know registered to vote. And that’s why we have to get everybody in our family and in our neighborhoods to cast their ballots.

That’s the message I shared in a conversation with Mi Familia Vota this week, where we discussed the critical issues at stake in the election and the importance of making your voice heard in our democracy.

In times like this, we all have to do our part to strengthen our democracy and sustain it for the next generation.

Before I sign off, remember: make your plan to vote; wear a mask when you’re out in public; and practice social distancing this weekend.

Stay healthy and safe,
