Spotlight On...

The Greenbrier Historical Society's presentation of:

The Yanks Are Coming: The Great War Remembered

April 8 - July 1

April of 2017 will mark 100 years since the US joined the Allied powers to fend off the German advance. The Greenbrier Historical Society has created an exhibit that looks back at those pivotal years.  As the war fought on in Europe many inventions and changes were unfolding in the US.  This exhibit will look at the role of medicine, women, and the home during WWI.  The exhibit will also examine how the Spanish Influenza caused severe casualties both home and abroad.  Please take time to stop by the North House Museum on Highway 60 in Lewisburg, WV and learn about the Great War.
