My staff delivered remarks on my behalf at the groundbreaking for the Tabler Station Logistics Park in Martinsburg. I appreciate the teams at Hines, MetLife Core Plus Partners, and everyone involved in this project, which will be equipped to service not only the Washington DC market, but also Baltimore, Richmond, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and New York. I look forward to seeing this impressive investment in our state flourish in the years ahead.

MANCHIN ANNOUNCES $250K FROM AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN TO SUPPORT TAMARACK FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS
Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced $250,000 from the American Rescue Plan for the Tamarack Foundation for the Arts in Charleston. This funding is distributed through the National Endowment for the Arts and will help the arts and cultural sector in West Virginia recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The Tamarack Foundation for the Arts is a cherished institution working to support artists in the Mountain State. This funding from the American Rescue Plan is great news for West Virginia, and will allow the Tamarack Foundation for the Arts better support artists, who have been hit particularly hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. West Virginia has a vibrant arts culture, and I will continue to advocate for funding to support and enrich the arts in West Virginia,” Senator Manchin said.

The Tamarack Foundation for the Arts works to grow the creative economy of West Virginia through supporting and connecting artists, as well as providing resources to artists to help with training and other opportunities.
