I was proud to join Pure Watersports at the WV Business Summit to announce an electric boat manufacturing facility at the Beech Bottom Industrial Park in Brooke County. This is great news for the Northern Panhandle & puts WV at the forefront of a new era in water recreation.

Attending a U.S. Service Academy is a privilege reserved for the best and brightest young men & women. I was proud to host Academy Training Day for students at West Virginia University. Thank you to academy representatives, WVU & the West Virginia National Guard for making this event a success.

Mr. Chavez, of Wheeling, reached out to my office with concerns about his visa that affected his employment. He had not been issued a Social Security card to obtain payment for his work. After an inquiry from my office, Mr. Chavez received his Social Security card and began to receive pay for his work.

The United States Senate Youth Program annually brings the highest-level officials from each branch of government to meet two high school juniors or seniors from each of the fifty states, the District of Columbia and the Department of Defense Education Activity for an intensive week-long education and leadership program.
