Mr. Tucker of Summersville contacted my office for assistance with his retirement benefits. As a result of my offices inquiry to the Office of Personnel Management, his retirement benefits were completed. He has received a back payment and will receive the first of his monthly payments next month.

THE PACT ACT AND YOUR VA BENEFITS

Attention West Virginia Veterans: if you were exposed to toxic substances as a result of your service in Vietnam, the Gulf War or post-9/11 eras, you may be eligible for VA disability benefits.

The PACT Act is a new law that expands VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits and other toxic substances. This law helps us provide generations of Veterans — and their survivors — with the care and benefits they’ve earned and deserve.
