I visited Summers County to tour a construction site for the Mountain Valley Pipeline. This project will create more than 4,500 jobs to finish construction, generate $50 million in tax revenue and more than $175 million in royalties for West Virginia landowners.

Last week, I traveled to Fayette County to celebrate more than $3.7 BILLION in federal funding to the New River Gorge region since New River Gorge National Park and Preserve's designation in January 2021. I was proud to secure this funding, which is making huge impacts on this region and our state. |

Ms. Varney of Camden on Gauley contacted my office for assistance with her pending survivor’s claim for black lung benefits. As a result of my inquiry from my office, Ms. Varney was awarded federal black lung benefits from the black lung disability trust fund. |
