This week, Senator Romney met with several groups of Utahns to discuss the needs of their respective industries: realtors, contractors, local chambers of commerce, and representatives of the Dietary Supplement Trade Association. He also participated in several committee hearings, and saw his Navajo Utah Water Rights Settlement Act approved by the Senate Indian Affairs Committee. A brief recap of his week can be found below:

Senator Romney will join host Jake Tapper live in studio on CNN's State of the Union this Sunday at 9 a.m. ET. The two will discuss foreign policy and other news of the day.

This week was National Police Week—a time in which our country honors the service and sacrifice of our country's law enforcement officers. Senator Romney recorded the following video to express his appreciation for the Thin Blue Line and to recognize the two Utahns we lost in 2018: Brigham City Assistant Police Chief Dennis Vincent and South Salt Lake City Police Officer David Romrell. Next year, we will recognize Provo Police Officer Joseph Shinners, who was tragically killed in the line of duty this year.
