I spent the month of August traveling all across our state—talking with people in town halls and on the street, meeting with local elected officials, and continuing to work on important legislation. One thing is clear: Utahns, not the federal government, know what’s best for Utah. I will keep fighting for what’s best for our people, our state, and our country.

I spent a morning with the Utah Air National Guard and my colleagues in the Utah delegation on a refueling mission. Always grateful for their service to our country and their efforts to keep us safe.

I was honored to have been able to participate in the naturalization ceremony of more than 60 new Americans in West Jordan.

I hosted seven town halls throughout our state—from Vernal, to St. George, to Logan—listening to the perspectives of Utahns and answering their questions.

During a taping of The County Seat with Chad Booth, we visited Woodland Biscuit Company. The only thing better than the vintage car were the biscuits!

While driving throughout southern Utah, I had to pull over on an outlook to snap some pictures!

I participated in the groundbreaking for Northrop Grumman's new facility on the outskirts of Hill Air Force Base that will serve as the headquarters for its workforce serving our Ground Based Nuclear Deterrent system. This project bring about 2,500 jobs to Davis and Weber counties.

I swung by the Box Elder County Fair and Rodeo—a great way to spend an evening!
