Dear Fellow Vermonter,
Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield may be the world's most famous and iconic ice cream makers. For decades now the company they started in Vermont has been making high quality ice cream with all kinds of exotic tastes. Flavors like Cherry Garcia, Phish Food, Chunky Monkey, and Super Fudge Chunk are now household names known all over the world.
Not only did Ben and Jerry revolutionize the world of ice cream, they also helped develop a new business model and showed the world what a progressive and community-minded business could look like.
A few months ago, they celebrated their 42nd year of bringing ice cream to the people and calling Vermont home. So, we decided to catch up with Ben and Jerry to hear about their childhood friendship, how their company began, and what motivated them.
