Dear Fellow Vermonter,
I hope you will join me next Tuesday, December 13th at 5:00 P.M. for a Telephone Town Meeting.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, one of my favorite times of the year was hosting our annual senior holiday meals across the state. These events were a great opportunity for older Vermonters to come together to celebrate the season, eat good food, and connect with each other. And while it remains safest to gather virtually, I continue to want to hear directly from our seniors. I hope you will join me virtually to discuss the issues that impact you, your family, friends, and neighbors.
I will be calling older Vermonters to invite you to participate in this town meeting. If you would like to ensure you receive a call, or would like to submit a question in advance, you can register at the link below.

I don’t need to tell you that it’s been a difficult few years for all of us, and that is especially true for older Vermonters. Know that whether it’s the cost of prescription drugs, the importance of Social Security and Medicare, the student debt crisis, climate change, foreign policy, transportation access, I hear from you so I can fight for you.
During the town meeting, I will share an update from Congress and will answer questions about how we can work together to address the needs of older Vermonters and working families across our country.
I am looking forward to the conversation. I hope you will join us.
Sincerely,
|
