Dear Fellow Vermonter,
This is an extremely difficult time. It is heartbreaking to know that thousands of our friends and neighbors have been impacted by last week’s disastrous flooding. We are also seeing terrible damage to our roads, bridges, homes, farms, and small businesses. I know this disaster has been especially challenging because flash flooding continued for days after the initial flooding.
Senator Welch, Representative Balint, and I want you know what federal resources are available and how to access them. Please join us on Wednesday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m. for a statewide telephone town meeting to provide information on the assistance available to individuals, homeowners, farms, displaced employees, and small businesses. State and federal officials will be available to answer your questions.
In the coming days, we will be calling to invite you to participate in this town meeting. To ensure you receive a call, or to submit a question in advance, please register at the link below.

Thanks to the Major Disaster Declaration signed by President Biden last week, significant federal assistance is coming to the state. I look forward to speaking with you next week.
Sincerely,
