Congratulations to the UVM Men’s Soccer Team!

Dear Fellow Vermonter,

The University of Vermont Men’s Soccer Team recently completed a historic 2024 season by winning the NCAA Championship.

Even with the odds against them, the team came from behind in the championship with an impressive overtime golden goal, winning the match with a final score of 2-1.

While many will remember the historic comeback victory in the championship game, UVM’s season was filled with many hours of practice, off-season training, and strategizing with coaches and teammates, both on and off the pitch.

We sat down with Head Coach Rob Dow and UVM players after their championship parade to talk about the hard work, teamwork and discipline that went into their successful season. I hope you’ll take a moment to watch the video above to hear what they had to say about their unprecedented season.

Congratulations again to the Catamounts! You’ve earned your spot as the best men’s college soccer team in the nation, and you have made your whole state proud.
