Youth Choral Concert

Dear Fellow Vermonter,

The youth choral concert is back again this year! This event returned last year at the Dibden Arts Center after a multi-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s “Choral Concert and Town Meeting on the Arts” is taking place on Saturday, April 5 at 6:00 PM at the Casella Theater on Vermont State University’s Castleton campus. Whether you know a young person participating this year or just want to enjoy a great night of music celebrating the talent of young Vermonters from around the region, we hope you’ll join us for this great community event.

Each year, this event is a great opportunity for student participants and teachers to come together to share their love of music with one another. For families and community members this is a great way to come together for an evening out enjoying the arts. If you missed last year’s event, it was a great night full of truly fantastic music. More than 180 Vermont students from elementary, middle, high school and college choirs performed songs that ranged from traditional to spiritual to pop.

Some of the schools participating this year include Arlington High School, Thetford Academy, Colchester Middle School, Hartland Elementary School, and more! We’re also glad to have singers from Castleton University perform and work with the younger participants.
