Dear Fellow Vermonter,
These are tough times for Vermont and our country. In the midst of all of the chaos, divisiveness and ugliness that we are seeing, it’s vitally important that we strengthen our sense of community - and support and enjoy each other as fellow human beings. And one way to do that right now is to turn off our cell phones and TVs, get out of our homes, and celebrate spring with a night of great music and dancing.
Please join me and the Peavine Boys at Hazen Union School on Saturday, May 17 at 7:30 pm for a Spring Dance. Hailing from Rochester, Vermont, the Peavine Boys are an outstanding Americana band playing rock and country originals and covers. They’re well-known for their harmonies and full band arrangement that gets the audience up and out of their seats dancing. After their performance, we will keep the evening going with more music and dancing. It will be a lot of fun.

In February, over 300 Vermonters came out to my Valentine’s Day Dance in Colchester. The overwhelmingly positive response we received made clear to me that Vermonters are anxious to build community, enjoy each other’s company, and dance to some great music.
So let’s come together next month. Whether you’re 4 or 94; single, a couple, or a family; a skilled dancer or have two left feet, I hope you’ll join us for this fun-for-all-ages event.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Sincerely,
