Join Me for a Breakfast and Hike on the D & H Rail Trail

Dear Fellow Vermonter,

With spring finally here, it is the perfect time to step outside, breathe the fresh air and enjoy a meal and time with good people. The challenges we all face may not disappear when we lace up our shoes and get outdoors, but each of us can feel just a bit more optimistic when we face difficult times together alongside friends and neighbors.

Please join me for an outdoor town meeting and hike on the Delaware and Hudson Rail trail on Saturday, June 13. We’ll meet at the Vermont State University Castleton Pavillion. Bagels and coffee will be available at 9:30 a.m. with the program kicking off at 10 a.m. After breakfast, we will set off for a three mile out-and-back hike along the rail trail.

I can’t promise we’ll solve every problem over coffee and a few miles of trail, but I can promise a morning worth your time with good company, good spirits and a reminder that none of us are in this alone.
