This week, Senator Rick Scott applauded President Donald Trump’s signing of his Safeguarding America’s First Responders Act to ensure families of public safety officers who died of coronavirus can quickly access survivor benefits.

Senator Scott also joined Senators Ted Cruz, John Cornyn and Marco Rubio to introduce a resolution recognizing the men and women at SpaceX and NASA for the successful SpaceX Crew Dragon mission to the International Space Station and applauding the United States as a leader in space exploration.

Sen. Rick Scott to SEC: Take Action Now to Protect American Investors from Communist China

Senator Rick Scott sent a letter to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Jay Clayton urging the SEC to immediately implement the recommendations of the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets to further safeguard American investors from the threat of Communist China. Senator Scott has been calling for additional protections and warnings for investors about the risks associated with Chinese-based companies trading publicly on U.S. exchanges.
