I recently joined with members of the Indiana delegation in sending a letter to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on the impact of the newly released draft risk evaluation for formaldehyde on critical industries in our state. The EPA’s proposal would establish a de facto ban on formaldehyde manufacturing, which would hurt Hoosier families and workers, and disproportionately affect the production and accessibility of EpiPens, metered dose inhalers, seatbelts, electric toothbrushes, crop protection products, wood furniture, and funeral home services.
Congress and the Biden Administration should encourage the expansion of America’s critical manufacturing sectors, instead of hindering it. Read more here. |
