Upcoming FEMA Deadline

For Hoosier families impacted by severe weather and flooding in August, the deadline to apply for federal aid is October 25. 

Hoosiers can apply for FEMA assistance at DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 800-621-3362.

New Programs at Purdue

Last week, our team attended an event at Purdue University highlighting new additions to the LyoHUB Pilot Plant. I’m proud to support efforts like this that help small biotech companies expand production, strengthen our pharmaceutical supply chains, and advance Indiana’s leadership in innovation.

Zaharakos in Columbus

One of my favorite places to visit is Zaharakos in Columbus, which first opened in 1900. I enjoyed seeing a few friends and a Green River fountain soda during a recent stop in Bartholomew County.

Hoosier Nominated to Serve as Federal Judge

Congratulations to Indiana native Joe Falvey on his nomination to serve as a U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Indiana. From his service in the Marine Corps to his work in our federal judicial system, Joe has dedicated his career to public service.

His extensive legal experience and commitment to public service will serve Hoosiers well on the federal bench, and I look forward to supporting his confirmation. Read more here.
