UPDATED MEDIA ADVISORY: Senator Scott’s York County Visit

  

Rock Hill, SC—U.S. Senator Tim Scott will be in Rock Hill Friday afternoon to honor the organizers of the Area 11 Special Olympics. Due to weather concerns, the Area 11 Special Olympics the Senator was scheduled to attend at the Come-See-Me Festival have been cancelled.

Who: U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), Rock Hill Mayor Doug Echols, Organizers, Athletes, and Volunteers from the Area 11 Special Olympics

What: Presentation of a flag and certificate honoring the athletes and organizers of the Area 11 Special Olympics

When: Friday, April 12, 2013, 12:15 pm

Where: Rock Hill City Hall Rotunda,155 Johnston St, Rock Hill, SC 29730

The Senator will also be speaking at the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce breakfast, Lewisville High School in Chester County, and the Cherokee County Education Liftoff in Gaffney as scheduled.
