host
workshops
throughout
South
Carolina
in
September
for
students
interested
in
attending
a
service
academy.
Each
workshop
will
feature
a
representative
from
the
United
States
Air
Force
Academy,
United
States
Coast
Guard
Academy,
United
States
Merchant
Marine
Academy,
United
States
Military
Academy,
and
United
States
Naval
Academy
and
will
allow
students
and
parents
to
ask
questions
and
gather
information
about
attending
a
service
academy
as
well
as
the
nomination
and
application
process.
Senator
Scott’s
office
will
host
four
informational
sessions
this
coming
Saturday,
September
28.
“Our
military
academies
produce
some
of
the
best
and
brightest
leaders
in
the
world,”
Scott
said.
“I
encourage
any
South
Carolina
student
who
is
interested
in
serving
their
country
and
developing
their
leadership
skills
to
attend
a
workshop
to
learn
more
about
our
nation’s
service
academies
and
the
application
process.”
