Dear Friends,

HealthCare.Gov Failures

This week we saw the failures of HealthCare.Gov, the President’s health care website, up close and personal. I addressed blatant violations of privacy on the Healthcare.gov website in a committee hearing Tuesday with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) administrator Marilyn Tavenner. You can watch my questions for Ms. Tavenner below.

I also joined Hannity to discuss the privacy breaches on the website, which you can watch below as well.

If you are having issues with the exchange, are seeing your premiums increase, or have been dropped from your current plan, please consider sharing your story with my office. You can email me, contact one of our offices (information at the bottom of this email), or reach me through Facebook or Twitter.

Responsible Budgeting

I also wrote a column for the Greenville News this past Sunday discussing the importance of responsible budgeting. We must address structural issues in our budgeting process. Our country deserves better than short-term budgeting that only works well enough to get us to the next crisis.

Sincerely,

Tim Scott
