Thank you for subscribing to my e-newsletter. It’s been a busy week in the Senate as we discussed a major budget proposal.

While I was encouraged that Democrats and Republicans were able to come to the table to reach a budget agreement that avoids the crisis-to-crisis governing that led to October’s government shutdown, I was unable to support this proposal. I explained why in this video:

 

I also joined Shannon Bream on Fox News earlier in the week to discuss the proposed budget agreement.
