Senator Tim Scott Applauds Boeing’s 787-10 Announcement

Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) made the following statement after Boeing announced their decision to build the Dreamliner 787-10 in South Carolina:    “Today’s announcement by Boeing that they will build the next version of the 787 Dreamliner, the 787-10, in South Carolina is a testament to our role in leading the nation’s manufacturing renaissance.  Their decision speaks to how South Carolina is bringing together our state’s skilled workforce and advanced American-based manufacturing.  This combination is creating good paying jobs and contributing to our growing economy.    “I’m proud that South Carolinians are ready for the in-demand jobs of today.  When South Carolina competes, we win, and that’s in large part because of our talented workforce.”   ###
