Sept.
18,
will
unveil
a
white
paper
at
The
National
Press
Club
documenting
the
potential
impacts
of
rising
energy
costs
on
the
budgets
of
American
families.
The
Murkowski-Scott
white
paper
–
Plenty
at
Stake:
Indicators
of
American
Energy
Insecurity
–
will
provide
policymakers
with
valuable
ways
to
measure
the
economic
effects
of
legislation,
regulation,
or
other
factors
that
increase
the
cost
of
home
energy.
Scott
and
Murkowski
will
talk
about
the
economic,
political,
and
social
consequences
of
allowing
energy
insecurity
to
rise
in
America.
The
discussion
will
be
hosted
and
moderated
by
Mark
Mills,
senior
fellow
at
the
Manhattan
Institute,
which
is
organizing
the
event.
Audience
members
will
have
an
opportunity
to
ask
questions
of
the
senators
during
a
Q&A
session.
The
Murkowski-Scott
energy
insecurity
paper
builds
on
the
Energy
20/20
blueprint
Murkowski
released
last
year.
The
paper
will
be
available
on
the
