There
is
plenty
to
be
thankful
for,
but
I
am
extremely
thankful
for
the
opportunity
to
serve
my
state
–
the
great
state
of
South
Carolina
–
as
well
as
the
best
country
in
the
world,
America.
It
is
such
an
honor
to
serve
every
one
of
you
in
the
United
States
Senate,
and
I
send
my
thanks
and
blessings
to
you
and
your
family
today
as
you
come
together
for
a
great
time
over
a
huge
meal.
Thanksgiving,
for
me,
is
especially
meaningful
and
significant
because
it
is
an
opportunity
to
celebrate
the
positive
things
in
our
lives
and
serve
on
behalf
of
those
who
are
less
fortunate.
My
primary
goal
in
the
U.S.
Senate
is
to
affect
many
Americans
with
a
message
of
hope
and
opportunity,
and
I
will
continue
to
work
hard
to
ensure
that
this
happens.
I
wish
you
the
very
best
this
Thanksgiving.
I
am
grateful
for
all
of
the
support
I
have
received
from
all
over
the
state
–
your
feedback
and
concerns
are
valuable
to
me
in
doing
the
best
job
representing
you.
As
we
enter
the
holiday
season,

makes
this

of
the

so
special
and

to
come

as
a
state
and
country
as
well.
