Dear
Friends,
Thank
you
for
subscribing
to
my
weekly
e-newsletter,
and
please
remember
to
follow
me
on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
Spreading
Opportunity
It
is
an
honor
to
serve
my
home
state
as
your
United
States
Senator.
Moving
forward,
I
will
continue
to
focus
on
my Opportunity
Agenda,
which
works
to
ensure
that
every
American
has
access
to
opportunity
and
a
brighter
future.
We
have
formed
the Senate
Opportunity
Coalition,
which
is
composed
of
several
senators
and
it
focuses
on
finding
conservative
solutions
to
combat
poverty.
Poverty
is
an
epidemic
that
can
be
found
in
every
state
in
our
country.
I
am
confident
that
the
new
solutions
that
we
put
forth
will
improve
the
well-being
of
all
of
our
citizens.
I
am
excited
to
see
what
progress
we
can
make
in
giving
everyone
the
opportunity
to
succeed.
Thank
You
to
All
Veterans
This
past
Friday
was
Veterans
Day.
Coming
from
a
military
family,
with
both
my
brothers
and
father
having
served,
this
holiday
holds
a
special
place
in
my
heart.
Veterans
Day
is
a
day
of
remembrance,
recognition,
and
appreciation
for
the
men
and
women
who
have
donned
the
cloth
of
our
nation
and
have
selflessly
volunteered
to
protect
our
way
of
life.
In
addition
to
recognizing
veterans
on
this
day,
I
do
my
best
to
honor
their
service
through
supporting
legislation
that
helps
them,
such
as
the
VA
Accountability
Act,
and
helping
them
whenever
they
contact
my
office.
As
Greer
Today wrote
about
this
weekend, it
was
an
honor
to
help Mr.
Homer “Carly”
Campbell finally
receive
the
medals
he
earned
while
serving
in
World
War
II.
To
all
veterans,
thank
you
to
you
and
your
families
who
have
made
sacrifice
after
sacrifice,
so
we
can
continue
to
enjoy
our
freedom
and
liberties.
I
am
forever
humbled
and
appreciative
of
your
service.
National
Adoption
Month
November
is
National
Adoption
Month
and
I
would
like
to
thank
foster
families,
adoptive
parents
and
those
who
work
in
this
particular
field
for
their
commitment
to
this
noble
cause.
It
is
unfortunate
that
in
our
country
there
are
children
who
lack
homes
and
a
caring
family;
however,
it
is
uplifting
to
see
that
there
are
so
many
people
who
are
willing
to
try
and
make
a
difference
in
children’s
lives.
This
year,
I
recognized
the
Carolina
Youth
Development
Center
for
my
2016
Angels
in
Adoption.
Formerly
known
as
the
Charleston
Orphan
House,
it
was
founded
in
1790
and
serves
young
individuals
who
were
victims
of
physical
and
sexual
abuse,
neglect
and
abandonment.
I
would
also
like
to
congratulate
and
recognize
the
Adoption
Advocacy
for
being
recipients
of
the Adoption
Across
Boundaries
Award,
which
is
a
national
award.
Having
another’s
fate,
especially
a
child’s,
in
your
hands
is
no
easy
task.
Thank
you
to
all
who
are
courageous
enough
to
take
this
on
as
your
vocation.
Sincerely,

Tim
