Defense
Authorization
Act:

am
proud

get

a
piece

legislation
that
takes
care
of
our
troops
and
enhances
our
national
security
posture.
Our
service
members
and
military
retirees
have
made,
and
continue
to
make,
sacrifice
after
sacrifice
to
protect
our
country.
We
owe
it
to
them
to
push
for
better
equipment,
higher
quality
healthcare,
and
compensation
that
keeps
up
with
the
rising
cost
of
living.
I
am
also
glad
to
see
GITMO
will
remain
open,
preventing
dangerous
enemy
combatants
from
being
held
on
U.S.
soil.”
