Swearing
In
Today,
I
had
the
honor
of
being
sworn
in
to
the
115th
Congress
to
serve
my
first
six-year
term.
Words
cannot
describe
the
overwhelming
feeling
that
comes
with
being
chosen
for
such
a
prestigious
office.
I
take
my
duty
as
your
U.S.
Senator
very
seriously
and
look
forward
to
representing
all
South
Carolinians
to
the
best
of
my
ability.
It
is
my
intention
to
continue
fighting
to
expand
opportunity
throughout
the
country
through
my
Opportunity
Agenda.
My
Agenda
presents
new
solutions
to
old
problems
that
have
plagued
our
country
for
decades.
From
our
poor
school
systems
to
our
lack
of
a
skilled
labor
force,
my
Opportunity
Agenda
seeks
to fix problems
by
giving
people
a
hand-up
rather
than
a
hand-out.
I
greatly
appreciate
the
chance
to
be
in
a
position
where
I
can
be
a
part
of
a
positive
change
in
our
country.

In

Secretary
Kerry’s
Speech
on
Israel
and
Middle
East
U.S.
Secretary
of
State
John
Kerry’s
speech
on
Israel
and
the
Middle
East
was
billed
as
a
path
to
peace,
but
it
was
really
a
path
to
pain. Our
world
is
becoming
more
and
more
volatile,
which
means
that
we
cannot
afford
to
alienate
those
who
may
be
an
asset
in
the
future.
As
we
move
forward,
we
will
seek
to
rebuild
bridges
and
search
for
common
ground
with
countries
who
want
the
same
thing
as
us:
safety
and
security.
