MEDIA ADVISORY: Senator Scott to Visit a Charleston Charter School and Harbor Deepening Round Table

- U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) will visit Charleston Charter School for Math & Science (CCSMS) and attend a Charleston Harbor Deepening Project Round Table TODAY, Jan. 23rd.

Scott’s stop at CCSMS will include a tour of the school and an opportunity to deliver remarks during a student assembly. Scott is visiting the school as part of National School Choice Week, which runs from January 23-27. Scott’s statement on National School Choice week can be found here.

Senator Scott will also participate in a Charleston Harbor Deepening Project Round Table with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC); Congressmen Jim Clyburn (D-SC), Mark Sanford (R-SC), Joe Wilson (R-SC), Jeff Duncan (R-SC); U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; South Carolina Legislative Leadership; Jim Newsome, South Carolina Ports Authority President and CEO; Key Shippers and South Carolina Business Leaders.
