In
a
first
of
its
kind
event,
Sen.
Tim
Scott
(R-S.C.)
and
Rep.
Mark
Walker
(R-N.C.)
have
invited
the
Presidents
and
Chancellors
of
Historically
Black
Colleges
and
Universities
(HBCUs)
to
participate
in
a
daylong
conference
tomorrow
at
the
Library
of
Congress.
Currently,
there
are
approximately
90
registered
HBCU
presidents
scheduled
to
attend.
The
event
and
discussion
panels
will
focus
on
opportunity,
strengthening
bilateral
relationships,
and
celebrating
the
importance
of
our
country’s
HBCUs.
Secretary
of
Education,
Betsy
DeVos,
has
been
confirmed
as
the
event’s
keynote
speaker.
In
addition

and
Walker,
