Dear
Friends,
The
Second
Continental
Congress
proposed
a
set
of
ideals
that
changed
the
course
of
history
241
years
ago
today.
By
signing
the
Declaration
of
Independence,
they
bravely
championed
the
notion
that
people
should
not
have
to
submit
to
a
government
without
representation,
but
instead
have
the
opportunity
to
create
a
government
that
“derives
their
just
powers
from
the
consent
of
the
governed.”
Those
ideas
have
shaped
and
defined
our
country,
and
continue
to
guide
us
today.
As
we
celebrate
our
independence
and
enjoy
time
with
our
friends
and
families
this
Fourth
of
July,
let
us
remember
those
who
have
served
and
continue
to
serve
our
great
nation.
Without
the
sacrifices
of
our
brave
men
and
women
in
uniform,
we
would
not
be
able
to
enjoy
and
celebrate
the
unalienable
rights
that
make
our
country
so
special.
Be
safe
in
your
celebrations,
and
Happy
Independence
Day!
God
bless
the
United
States
of
America.

Sincerely,

Tim
