Vietnam Veteran with 10 Medals

 – During an emotional ceremony at Clemson University, U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) presented Veteran Sgt. Willie L. Norwood Jr. with 10 medals, including a Purple Heart and Bronze Star, that he never received after serving in the Vietnam War.

Senator Scott’s office worked with the United States Army and National Personnel Records Center to help Sgt. Norwood receive these medals.

Medals from left to right: Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal. He also received the Combat Infantryman Badge, Oak Leaf Cluster, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Ribbon.
