Tax
Reform
Tax
reform
is
critical
for
American
families.
We
need
a
simplified
system
that
helps
hardworking
Americans.
Our
current
tax
code
is
antiquated,
and
a
fair
system
tailored
for
the
21st
century
is
long
overdue.
Our
system
should
not
make
it
more
difficult
for
working
Americans;
it
should
encourage
success
and
a
chance
at
the
American
Dream.
When
we
discuss
tax
reform,
our
focus
needs
to
be
on
raising
incomes,
especially
for
those
who
haven’t
seen
a
raise
in
decades,
more
jobs,
and
a
major
boost
in
our
nation’s
economy.
We
must
simplify
our
tax
code.
We
must
do
what
we
can
to
ensure
every
American
has
the
opportunity
to
succeed. Simply
put,
I
want
to
help
you
#KeepYoMoney.
Watch
“Between
Two
Chambers”

to
see
Rep.
Kevin
Brady
and
I
discuss
how
we,
in
the
House
and
Senate,
can
help
millions
of
hardworking
Americans
and
simplify
the
code.
Solution
Sundays
We
can
disagree
without
being
disagreeable.
Love
must
defeat
hate.
Anger,
frustration
and
seclusion
will
not
help
us
get
to
the
root
of
the
problem.
Instead,
let
us
remember
the
strength
of
unity
and
reach
out
to
one
another.
Last
summer,
Senator
James
Lankford
and
I
started
the
“Solution
Sundays”
initiative,
encouraging
people
to
step
outside
of
their
homogeneous
pool
and
venture
into
a
different
territory
in
order
to
learn
as
much
as
they
can
about
someone
else.
The
goal
is
to
help
folks
break
down
walls
so
that
we
can
understand
each
other
better
and
move
towards
uniting
our
country.
We
hope
this
can
influence
productive
dialogue
on
race.
You

about
our
initiative

Around
the
State
Last
week,
I
enjoyed
some
time
in
our
great
state.
On
Monday
night,
I
was
honored
to
speak
at
the
Lakelands
Fellowship
of
Christian
Athletes
(FCA)
banquet,
and
on
Tuesday
I
attended
the
Summerville/Dorchester
County
Chamber
Annual
Legislative
luncheon.
It
is
always
great
to
spend
time
with
fellow
South
Carolinians!

Sincerely,
Tim
