Dear
fellow
South
Carolinians,
I
want
to
wish
you
all
a
very
Merry
Christmas!
Today
we
enjoy
time
spent
with
our
family
and
friends,
as
we
reminisce
about
the
past
year
and
look
forward
to the
year
approaching.
As
you
exchange
gifts
with
your
loved
ones,
I
ask
that
you
remember
that
there
are
many
gifts
that
we,
as
Americans,
have
been
given
that
not
everyone
can
claim
as
their
own.
Those
gifts
include
liberty
and
freedom,
which
were
earned
by
men
and
women
who
had
a
vision
that
led
to
the
creation
of
the
greatest
country
on
earth.
We
must
keep
in
our
thoughts
those
overseas
who
may
not
be
with
their
loved
ones
this
holiday,
as
they
so
selflessly
defend
and
protect
us
all.
As
any
great
nation
must,
we
are
continuing
to
evolve
to
create
an
even
more
perfect
union.
It
is
my
hope
to
continue
to
be
a
part
of
that
evolution
through
my Opportunity
Agenda,
which
seeks
to
spread
opportunity
and
hope
to
those
who
have
become
disenfranchised
and
are
unable
to
take
full
advantage
of
the
gifts
given
to
all
Americans.
I
am
thankful
for
the
many
gifts
that
God
has
given
me
and
I
will
use
these
gifts
to
continue
to
work
hard
to
make
sure
that
every
American
has
the
opportunity
to
succeed
by
fighting
to
improve
our
school
system,
our
apprenticeship
programs
and
our
distressed
communities.
And
lastly,
I
am
thankful
that
the
hard
work
my
colleagues
and
I
have
done
on
Tax
Reform
this
past
year
has
become law
and
bringing
long-awaited
relief
to
so
many
hardworking
middle-class
Americans.
A
well-deserved
Christmas
gift
for
the
American
people!
God
Bless
and
Merry
Christmas
to
all!
Sincerely,

Tim |
