fellow
South
Carolinians,
I
want
to
wish
each
and
every
one
of
you
a
Happy
Easter.
Today,
as
excited
children
hunt
for
hidden
eggs
and
families
and
friends
gather
for
a
great
meal,
I
hope
we
all
reflect
on
the
lessons
of
Easter.
From
sacrifice
and
sadness,
to
hope
and
a
new
beginning,
all
is
made
possible
because
of
Christ
and
his
willingness
to
die
for
our
sins
and
his
triumphant
resurrection
from
the
dead.
I
am
grateful
to
live
in
America,
a
place
that
has
and
will
forever
be
a
beacon
of
religious
freedom,
where
we
can
gather
in
houses
of
worship
around
the
country
to
pray
and
offer
thanks
on
this
special
day
because
our
Constitution
ensures
us
that
freedom
–
a
freedom
I
will
continue
to
defend
every
day.
