This
morning,
the
office
of
Senator
Tim
Scott
will
be
hosting
a
Workforce
Matchmaking
Panel
at
the
Brookland
Baptist
Church
in
West
Columbia,
SC.
The
event
will
consist
of
two
45
minute
panel
discussions,
connecting
our
state’s
eight
HBCUs
with
some
of
South
Carolina’s
largest
businesses.
The
panelists
will
discuss
what
their
company
offers
in
terms
of
internships,
graduate
programs
and
available
jobs,
in
hopes
of
bringing
to
light
the
many
opportunities
companies
in
South
Carolina
have
for
students
and
graduates
of
HBCUs.
Some
participants
include
Westinghouse
Electric
Company,
Colonial
Life,
SC
Ports
Authority,
and
Boeing.
