I
was
happy
to
see
more
great
news
on
the
recent
tax
reform
&
the
Investing
in
Opportunity
Act
last
week,
highlighted
in
these
two

that
“Opportunity

areas,
thanks
to
Tax
Reform”,
and
highlighted
my
Investing
in
Opportunity
Act’s
“Opportunity
Zones”
initiative:
“If
they
work,
Opportunity
Zones
can
be
the
difference
between
an
America
where
too
many
get
left
behind
and
one
where
the
benefits
of
our
prosperity
can
truly
be
shared
by
all.”
My
colleague,
Senator
Chuck
Grassley,
also
shared
a

how
the
Investing
in
Opportunity
Act
is
sowing
seeds
of
hope
across
America:

the

Grow
with
Google
Last
Wednesday,
I
joined
small
business
owners,
students,
jobseekers,
and
developers
at
Grow
with
Google
in
Columbia.
It
was
such
a
great
opportunity
for
community
members
to
grow
their
skills,
careers,
and
businesses
using
Google's
free
training
and
tools.
I'm
excited
to
see
the
benefit
it
will
have
in
Columbia
and
beyond!
Around
the
State
On
Thursday,
I
joined
our
nation
in
celebrating
the
National
Day
of
Prayer.
I
know
firsthand
that
prayer
is
powerful,
and
I
was
honored
to
be
at
the
Naval
Weapons
Station
in
Charleston
that
afternoon.
Thank
you
to
all
Americans
who
joined
us
in
praying
for
unity
across
our
nation.
I
was
also
happy
to
have
the
opportunity
to
speak
at
Bob
Jones
University’s
commencement
ceremony
on
Friday.
Congratulations
to
all
of
the
graduates
on
a
job
well
done!
