U.S.
Senator
Tim
Scott
(R-SC)
will
speak
at
The
East
Copper
Republican
Club
about
his
Opportunity
Zone
legislation
and
will
provide
general
updates
on
the
economy.
As
part
of
the
tax
reform
bill,
Senator
Scott’s
Investing
in
Opportunity
Act
was
passed
into
law
late
last
year.
This
legislation
aims
to
incentivize
investments
in
the
most
distressed
communities
and
neighborhoods
across
the
country
and
has
the
potential
to
increase
access
to
opportunity
for
thousands
of
South
Carolinians
and
millions
of
Americans
across
the
country.
